July 4th Festivities
- The day-long July 4th festivities are, without a doubt, Lincoln's biggest event.  It features an old-fashioned Fire Fighters Pancake breakfast, a childrens' bicycle parade, a small- town parade featuring town committee floats and a parade Grand Marshal, many sports activities, an evening spectacular fireworks extravaganza.

Memorial Day Observances - are held on Memorial Day beginning at 10 am, in front of the Public Library. Residents are invited to join Lincoln's American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars for a ceremony that includes a brief parade from Bemis Hall to the library, followed by the laying of the Memorial Wreath, firearm salute, invocation, keynote speech, and refreshments.
