Lincoln's K-8 programs are combined in one complex on Ballfield Road off Lincoln Road.  A major school building and reconstruction project was completed in 1996, which added new rooms and facilities to the school complex.

The Smith Building houses grades K-4 and includes a separate kindergarten wing, dedicated science and computer labs and its own gymnasium/multi-purpose facility.  The Brooks Building serves as a middle school for grades 5-8.  The 1996 remodeling added new classrooms and computer resources, and renovated the gymnasium.  The complex shares a state-of-the-art media center and library.  The school campus includes soccer, baseball and softball fields and several playgrounds designed for various age groups, including one for toddlers.

The School Committee, which is responsible for overseeing the administration of the schools, is comprised of eight members, five voting and three nonvoting.  The five voting members are elected.  Tow of the the three nonvoting members are appointed to represent the Hanscom School, which the town manages for the US Air Force.  The third nonvoting member represents the Boston families participating in the METCO program.

Committee Members (voting):  Julie Dobrow, Sandra Hessler, Jan Nyquist, Ashton Peery, Dennis Picker
