The Town Clerk keeps official records of town events and activities. The Clerk
issues dog, hunting and fishing licenses; certifies copies of vital record such as births,
deaths, marriages and certain businesses; and registers voters. The Town Clerk
records proceedings at all Town Meetings and elections and notifies the Selectmen and all
officers concerned of appropriations voted by the Town. The clerk has custody of the
